Kristen Anne Bell (born 1980) is a famous American performer and actress. Her birthplace was Huntington Woods and raised there. Bell is the daughter of Lorelei Frygier and Tom Bell. She is of Polish origin (mother) as well as German, English and Scottish (father). Kristen's talents for performing were discovered at a very young age. She was cast in the role of Raggedy Ann in 1992 after having attended her first audition. Bell was contacted by an agent by her mother at the age of 13 and was cast as a model in newspapers and television commercials. In addition, Bell started taking classes in acting privately. Bell had a role that was not credited on Polish Wedding (1998), the film that was released in 1998. Bell was a member of the drama and musical clubs of Shrine Catholic High School. She was a part of Dorothy in the school production that was The Wizard of Oz. Bell later moved to New York City, to the Tisch School of the Arts. She was a musical theatre student at the Tisch School of the Arts. Bell quit studying in the year 2001, and assumed the role of Becky, a character from Tom Sawyer. Also in 2001 that Bell made her first appearance in a credited film, Pootie Tang (2002). Unfortunately her scene has been cut out and the credits are all that display her. Bell made an appearance in Broadway on Broadway in The Crucible, a revival that featured Liam Neeson with Angela Bettis.
